REVENGE. Episode 2, 'Trust'

Episode two, aptly named 'trust' is all about gaining the trust of Daniel Grayson by Emily. it is her brilliant way of making herself known to the Graysons. Ooh....darling Daniel is in for it! He doesnt even know he's about to be hit by the Amanda/Emily storm. lol.
At Daniel's polo game where Emily intends to catch his eye, she encounters Bill Hammond, her father's supposed best friend. this series is twisted mehn! everyone is kinda not who they claim to be. Bill apparently betrayed his friend, Amanda's father. He collaborated with the Graysons to set David up. he also benefitted much from the set up as he is now very wealthy and has his own company. he is number two on Emily's hitlist.
Jack Porter is set to sell The Amanda to Noland Ross to save the Stowaway, his father's bar. he puts off his dream of sailing away to some dead place to work with the red cross. his father is however ungrateful for Jack's help and rather yells at him ( parents sha). meanwhile, his dimwit of a brother is head over heels for Charlotte Grayson. he sends her a text inviting her to come spend time on his brother's boat. she shows up with her boyfriend and other friends in tow n they are all disappointed to see that there is no boat.
after establishing her interest in doing business with Bill, Emily goes to his office to talk shop. he reveals to her that he actually has unorthodox methods of getting things done and this is ultimately what Emily uses to bring him down. she together with Noland set Bill up and his company is destroyed. yep. he went down hard!
Victoria, unhappy with Emily's seeming interest in Daniel, after having Emily investigated, personally invites her over for tea so she can find out what kind of person she is and confirm the information she dug up about Emily. it is here Emily maliciously tells Victoria that she has bought Olivia's beach house which she got through Noland's help so Victoria couldnt buy it herself and prevent Emily from staying longer in the Hamptons.
at the end of the episode, Jack's father dies of a heart attack after helping scare away Declan's attackers; Charlotte's boyfriend and friends, who beat him up for texting Charlotte to come for a rendevouz with him in the bar. Also, Daniel and Emily share a heart to heart kiss at the end of her surprise birthday party. things seem to be heating up for these two. Jack is also falling for Emily and she even appears to like him to. Finally,Victoria and her chief security officer Frank find a hole in Emily's seemingly perfect background.
