THE THREE STOOGES (2012 film)

Okies! i know what you are thinking! (or altleast i think i do). your mind is taking you back to those old short clips of the three stooges. nope. that's not what i'm talking about. Cmon! It's the film adaptation of it done in April 2012 I'm talkning about. i just finished watching this movie. and all though its comedy was kinda old and not of the 21st century humour, it was refreshing and served as a welcome change from comedies done by Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Aston Kutcher and other like morons.
The movie was produced, written and directed by the Farrelly brothers and co-written by Mike Cerrone, and stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes, and Will Sasso, recreating the eponymous characters played by Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard. The film's story places the Stooges in a modern setting. Other actors/actresses in the movie are Jane Lynch, Jennifer Hudson and Sofia Vergara.
This movies is just pure fun and silliness. i must say when i saw Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester in Glee) i was expecting her usual madness. but she was quite the opposite as Mother Superior and that in itself was interesting. the madness in the orphanage amongst the nuns came from Sister Mary-Mengele. and of course, i wasnt dupped. i knew right from the start she was a man. lol. Jennifer Hudson is also a nun and the fun part is we get to hear her angelic voice in the movie. (What else would she be doing if not singing?)
my favourite character (second to the Stooges of course) is Sofia Vergara who stars as Lydia, Teddy's unfaithful wife. She is truly amazing even with her heavily accented Colombian English. Dont you just love her? (well i do!). She continues to remain beautiful and stunning in every role she plays and even when she is seen falling victim to the silliness of Moe, Larry and Curly, she never once looks stupid.
So if you are in the mood for good old pure silliness and amazing stupendous comedy, just grab a copy of The Three Stooges, kick back and enjoy.
P.S: DO NOT ALLOW YOUR KIDS WATCH THIS MOVIE WITHOUT PARENTAL GUIDANCE. THEY MIGHT JUST DECIDE TO TRY THESE STUFF AT HOME. (and that will be disastrous!!!!)
